Who Took Over Heart Bingo?

Heart Bingo was founded in 1999 by two friends, Michele Kufrin and Nancy Hanks. The company grew rapidly, and by 2003 had over 1,000 locations.

In 2006, Heart Bingo was purchased by the American Gambling Industries (AGI), which at the time was the second largest gambling company in the United States. AGI merged with the Betfair Group in 2014, and as a result, Heart Bingo became part of Betfair.

Since its acquisition by Betfair, Heart Bingo has undergone a number of changes. In 2015, the company announced that it would be phasing out its traditional bingo cards in favor of an electronic system.

This change was met with mixed reactions from customers; some found the new system more convenient, while others groused about having to buy new cards every time they wanted to play. In 2017, Betfair announced that it would be closing 100 of its Heart Bingo locations worldwide due to declining demand from customers.

Despite these challenges, it appears that Heart Bingo will continue to operate for years to come. The company has a strong customer base and is well-funded; it is likely that Betfair will continue to support Heart Bingo even if it ceases to be a major player in the industry.
