The actress in the Sun Bingo advert is probably not unknown to you. She is, in fact, the actress who played Rose Tyler in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who.
Rose Tyler was a companion of the Tenth Doctor, who first appeared in 2005. The role made her a household name, and she starred in a number of spin-off programmes before leaving the show in 2013.
Since then, she has appeared in a number of films and TV programmes, including a short film about tennis stars called Born to Serve. She is also credited as a co-writer on an upcoming novel called Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel.
