Bingo Heeler is best known as the drummer in the punk rock band Bad Religion. He has also played in the bands Man Overboard and The Offspring. Bingo Heeler started playing drums at a young age and quickly became obsessed with the music. He attended California State University, Fullerton, where he met Bad Religion drummer Brett Gurewitz.
The two bonded over their love of punk rock and decided to start a band. They recruited Greg Hetson on bass and started playing shows around Southern California.
In 1990, Bingo Heeler left Bad Religion to start his own band, Man Overboard. The band released two albums before breaking up in 1994.
Bingo Heeler then joined The Offspring, who were looking for a new drummer after losing Chuck Panozzo to Metallica. The Offspring released four albums with Bingo Heeler before he left in 2002 to focus on his own projects.
Bingo Heeler is currently drumming for the hardcore punk band Dropkick Murphys. The band has released seven albums and is currently touring in support of their latest release, “Going Out In Style.
” Bingo Heeler has also played drums on several other projects, including a stint with the metalcore band Killswitch Engage and a collaboration with former Bad Religion member Brett Gurewitz called Pennywise.
Bingo Heeler is one of the most influential and respected drummers in punk rock history. His unique style and ability to keep up with the fastest bands has made him one of the most in-demand drummers in the industry.
His ability to write original material and play complex rhythms has put him at the forefront of modern hardcore punk drumming.
