Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, is one of the most popular casinos in the world. The casino has two floors with over 2,000 slot machines, 97 table games, and a poker room.
The casino offers a variety of entertainment including live music, comedy shows, and more.
The Bingo Hall at Foxwoods will be open seven days a week, including morning and evening sessions, with a decreased capacity of 70% (950 total attendees).
To allow for more time to clean up in between morning and afternoon classes, Foxwoods Bingo will start the morning sessions at 9:30 AM, and the afternoon sessions at 6:30 PM. Each session will last for only 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Changes after the pandemic
The Bingo Hall has been redesigned to ensure at least 6 to 10 feet of social distance between players. The Bingo Hall is separated into fourteen “Zones.” After each Bingo session, players are asked to stay seated until the caller indicates the Zone from which they may go. Visitors are also asked to remain seated throughout the performance.
All gaming areas and video screens shall be routinely cleaned and sanitized in accordance with stringent sanitation procedures. During session hours, the inflow of fresh air will be boosted and more than 20 disinfecting units will be added to the hall and all transaction booths. At all times, masks are necessary, and smoking is prohibited.
Midweek games will be decreased to a $10-$300 game, and weekend sessions will also be decreased to a $15-$700 game, in an effort to reduce the amount and frequency of contact between visitors and team members. No outside food or beverages are permitted, but a kiosk will provide prepackaged snacks and beverages, including bottled water, for attendees to purchase and enjoy.
