Bingo is a yellow labrador retriever from Bluey, a Canadian dog breeding operation. Bingo was adopted by the family of four in 1996, and quickly became a member of the household. The family kept Bingo mostly indoors, but he did spend some time out in the yard playing with the family’s other dogs. In 2003, Bingo developed a tumor on his back that required surgery. After recovering from the surgery, Bingo continued to live a normal life – going for walks, playing with his toys, and spending time with his family.
In 2011, however, Bingo began experiencing difficulty walking and eventually developed difficulty breathing. The family took Bingo to the vet, who diagnosed him with congestive heart failure and recommended that he be euthanized. However, the family decided to keep Bingo alive long enough for him to be able to travel to Alberta to be buried with his ancestors. Sadly, Bingo passed away on January 16, 2012 at the age of 15.
