The farmer’s name was Bingo, but the dog’s name was Rover. Bingo was very surprised when Rover came home from the vet with a brand new name – Lucky. Bingo and Lucky quickly became best friends and spent every day playing together. Bingo was sure that Rover had chosen the new name himself, and he was thrilled to be able to call his friend by his new name.
However, one day Bingo found out that Rover had actually been named Lucky by the vet because he had been found very lucky after being hit by a car. Bingo was sad to hear this, but he still loved his friend very much. In the end, it turned out that both Bingo and Rover were very happy with their new names.
