Is Bingo a Real Name?

Bingo is a nickname for Bernard Charles Bingham, an American businessman, philanthropist and politician. Bingham was born on February 4, 1915, in Seattle, Washington. He was the son of Canadian-born Raymond Bingham and the American actress and socialite Zarena Young. He changed his name to Bingo in 1939.

Bingham served as the 36th Governor of Utah from 1985 to 1991. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Coca-Cola Company from 1977 to 1985. In 1992, he was inducted into the Utah Business Hall of Fame.

In 1993, Bingo was questioned by the FBI about his relationship with a Russian spy ring. The FBI alleged that he had given money to the spy ring and that he had used his position as CEO of The Coca-Cola Company to launder money for the spies. However, no charges were ever brought against him and the FBI investigation ultimately failed.

In 2007, Bingo published his autobiography, Let’s Call It True: My Life Story. In it, he denied any knowledge of or involvement in any Russian spy ring.

Bingo has never been officially confirmed as a real name. However, many sources believe that it is in fact his real name.

Although he has never confirmed it himself, many people believe that Bingo is his real name because it is similar to the names of other famous people who have used that name. For example, Bernard Charles Bingham is similar to British actor Bernard Hill and American singer Bing Crosby.
