Bingo is a popular casino game that players can enjoy at home or in casinos. The object of the game is to cover a number of bingo cards with numbers from 1 to 25.
Each number on a bingo card is called a “spot” and players try to cover as many spots as possible by matching the numbers on their cards. Bingo is generally played with 54 numbered cards, but variations exist that use different numbers of cards.
To play, players collect a set number of balls (usually 21) and place them in a designated area near the board. The first player then starts by drawing one ball from the pile and placing it in the center of the board. Players then take turns drawing balls from the pile and placing them on any open spot on the board, including in front of any previously drawn balls.
As long as the ball is placed within the boundaries of a spot that has already been filled, it can be used again. If a player drAWS a ball that doesn’t match any numbers on their card, they must either place that ball back in the pile or forfeit their turn.
When all players have had an opportunity to draw a ball, whoever has the most balls remaining in their hand wins the game. If two or more players have equal amounts of balls remaining, the player with the highest number on their card wins.
If two or more players have equal amounts of spots covered on their cards, then the player with the most consecutive spot matches (e.g., 3 consecutive numbers matched) wins the game.
