Grand Falls is one of the oldest towns in Newfoundland and Labrador. The town was founded in 1784 by Richard Morris and originally consisted of four houses. It was renamed Grand Falls after the falls on the St.
John’s River which are located just outside the town. The first church in Grand Falls was built in 1822, and today there are several churches in the town.
In 1892, a bingo hall was built in Grand Falls, and it has been operating ever since. Today, there is a bingo hall in every town in Newfoundland and Labrador, but Grand Falls is still known as the birthplace of bingo.
Bingo is an extremely popular game in Newfoundland and Labrador, and it is played all over the province.
The popularity of bingo has led to several problems in Grand Falls. The town has had to deal with gambling addiction, organized crime involvement, and financial problems caused by bingo games.
However, despite these problems, bingo remains a popular game in Grand Falls and throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
