When it comes to Bingo, there is no one right way to play. Some people prefer to follow a set routine, while others might prefer to take a more random approach.
However, there are some basic rules that almost everyone follows.
The first step is to gather your Bingo markers. You will need at least twenty-six markers for a standard game of Bingo, and as many as fifty for a game that uses bonus squares.
It is also helpful to have some sort of bingo card or sheet, as this will help you keep track of your points and columns.
The next step is to get organized. You should divide your bingo card or sheet into four columns, and place the markers in the appropriate spots.
This will help you keep track of your point total and column rankings.
Now it’s time to start playing! The first thing you need to do is draw a card from the deck, and then move the marker on your bingo card or sheet correspondingly up or down the column corresponding to the number on the card. If the number drawn is in either of your bonus squares, then you can claim the square and add it to your score.
Once you have played through all of your cards, it’s time to start filling in the bonus squares. If you are playing with bonus squares, then each time you draw a card you must place a marker in one of the bonus squares.
The first player to reach fifty points in any column wins the game.
