Bluey and Bingo Sisters is a children’s book written by Don Freeman and illustrated by Dick Kinney. The story is about two sisters, Bluey and Bingo, who live in a house with a lonesome cat named Mr. Fuzzybums. One day, Bluey finds a box of balls in the basement and decides to play bingo. She wins every game and gets so excited that she starts to play all the time. Her brother Bingo starts to get jealous and wishes he could win too.
One day, while Bluey is playing bingo, Mr. Fuzzybums walks in the door and wins all of Bluey’s games. Bluey is very disappointed, but Mr. Fuzzybums says it’s okay because he enjoys playing with her. The sisters then share a happy moment playing bingo together. In the end, it’s clear that no matter what happens, being together is always the best thing.
