The Blackpool Bongos Bingo event took place on Saturday, February 10th at The Tower in Blackpool and was hosted by the Blackpool Bongos Club. This was the club’s first ever bingo event and it was a huge success.
The event ran from 9am to 5pm and there was a £5 entrance fee which went to the club’s nominated charity, the Alzheimer’s Society. The event attracted around 120 players and the club raised a total of £1,500.
The winning numbers for the day were 2, 12, 18, 20, 27, 31 and 34 and the jackpot was won by player C J Scargill with a total of £170. There were also many other wins worth a total of £140 including player M J Pearce who won £60 in singles and player P Hulme who won £40 in doubles.
Overall, it was an extremely successful event and the club is planning to hold more bingo events in the future. This will be particularly useful as the club is currently facing some financial difficulties.
